Steve and his staff possesses extensive experience in representing design professionals in all phases of litigation. They are also skilled in providing a full range of legal services involving sophisticated business and risk management counseling to insurance companies and individual clients to assist in analyzing and minimizing liability exposure to avoid litigation. Steve routinely presents seminars, webinars, lunch-and-learn meetings, and authors an e-newsletter, as well as articles for insurance carriers' and brokers' newsletters, addressing various issues facing design professional in their daily practice. Steve also assists design professionals in the review, negotiation, and preparation of project contracts.

Steve has been selected to the New York Metro Super Lawyers list, an honor that is limited to no more than five percent of attorneys in the state.

Steve received both a JD from Syracuse University College of Law and an MBA from Syracuse University Graduate School of Management as part of a joint degree program. He has been a member of the New York Bar since 1989, and actively involved in numerous professional organizations including the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, New York Society of Architects, American Institute of Architects, American Council of Engineering Companies of New York and New York State Society of Professional Engineers.
